A blessed New Year!

“For the Grace of God has appeared for the salvation of all men…awaiting our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all iniquity and to purify for himself a people of his own” (Paul’s letter to Titus 2:11-14).

As we begin this New Year and celebrate the Solemnity of the Mother of God, we are reminded again of the cycles of life, so integral to our journey to the Heart of the Father.  We think of beginnings and realize that we are many times called to “begin again.”  This is a wonderful grace and one of great consolation.  And who knows how close we are to the destination, upon that one more effort to “begin!”
